Kansas made a valiant comeback attempt, but Kentucky proved too much for anyone to handle this year. Kentucky is the 2012 NCAA National Champion, after its 67-59 victory. With the win, 2012 Bonanza champion Jessica Daues has set a new record for highest score at 167.
Other statistics of note from the 2012 Bonanza season was Jessica's other record for most bonus points won with 22. Also, congratulations to Alice Murtha and Dick Vitale for correctly predicting the exact total score of the NCAA title game.
