Oh, and some team from Connecticut won the national championship. However, back to more important things. Larry Acker offically becomes the first human not named Jessica Daues to win the Bonanza since 2010 thanks to the cinderella bonus (he picked Connecticut to go the furthest).
This Bonanza set records for the lowest score to win the title, smallest margin of victory, and the first to not have anyone select the national champion correctly. I guess that it what you get when the title game is a #7 seed vs #8 seed.
On another note, congratulations to first year participant Liam Herr for coming the closest to guessing the total score in the finals. Liam came within 2 points of the correct total score.
However, in the end, the day belongs to Larry. Congratulations to Larry Acker, 2014 Bonanza champion.
See you all next year!
